Jeff is the Director of Rockbrook Camp for Girls and the Director of the Castle Rock Institute, both in Brevard, North Carolina. He attended Davidson College, earned a master's from Harvard University, and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in the History of Religions. He has taught at Vanderbilt University, Davidson College, and the University of South Carolina. He received a Fulbright Fellowship to study in Nigeria, is an All-American college athlete, and a published author. He has also worked as a hiking and rock climbing guide for more than fifteen years.
